I see the appeal, too, but like you, I question whether it is in the best interest of the marine animals. I personally don’t like zoos. I wouldn’t want to be caged anymore than the folks did in that long ago episode of Twilight Zone. If the animal is endangered, okay; otherwise, let them live as intended.
